Other dungeons

Hall of Heroes (HoH)

The Hall of Heroes is a special event dungeon that opens once a month (usually on the weekend after Free Rune Removal Day) from Friday 12:00 to Sunday 23:59:59 (servertime). You can farm monster summoning pieces of natural 4 star monsters in this dungeon. The element of the monster changes every month in the rotation order Light -> Dark -> Wind -> Water -> Fire -> Light. The monster family is chosen by Com2uS. Hall of Heroes consists of 10 floors, each of which can only be completed once and rewards 25 summoning pieces.

Tip

If you use Almighty Summoning Pieces to summon immediately after you complete one floor of the Hall of Heroes you can double the amount of monsters you obtain from a HoH (10 instead of 5). However since 5 Almighty Summoning Pieces cost 200 guild points each additional monster will cost you 2000 guild points or in total 10000 guild points to double the amount of monsters you get from one HoH. If you do have spare guild points and the HoH gives you skillups for an important nat4 you might consider this.

In each anniversary Hall of Heroes you can choose one out of five previous Hall of Heroes monsters (one per element). The groups of five simply follow the historical appearance of the Hall of Heroes, so the first anniversary Hall of Heroes contained the first 5 Hall of Heroes to ever appear, the second one the Hall of Heroes numbers 6 to 10, the third one 11 to 15, and so on.

Notes

  • The anniversary Hall of Heroes is always additionally to the normal HoHs, it does not replace anything.
  • The anniversary HoH in 2015 was a community wide vote between the five options and resulted in the Light Ninja being the anniversary Hall of Heroes for that year.
  • In 2020 Com2uS decided to have two anniversary HoHs to speed up the process. This has been repeated in 2021 and 2022 and will most likely continue but there may be future changes to increase that even more or maybe they will go back to only one at some point, keep that in mind when grouping HoHs for future anniversary Halls of Heroes.
  • Historically the anniversary Hall of Heroes has taken place in April (which is the month of the SW anniversary) but with the introduction of double anniversary Hall of Heroes in 2020 they appeared in May and June instead ever since then.

Secret Dungeons

Secret Dungeons (SD) are a special type of dungeon in which you can obtain monster summoning pieces to summon monsters of natural 3 and below stars. A Secret Dungeon is usually open for 1 hour when it is discovered, you can farm it as many times as you can in that time. A Secret Dungeon has 10 stages, with the final one being a boss. All waves only consists of the monster whose pieces you can farm in that Secret Dungeon.

You can open a Secret Dungeon by yourself by farming the elemental halls, a successful run has a small chance of opening a random Secret Dungeon of that element. You can also craft open a random Secret Dungeon of the respective if an elemental hall is currently open (and only that hall, when all halls are open on Friday/Saturday you can not craft a Secret Dungeon). Additionally you can enter SDs that have been discovered by your friends. Once a month there is also a weekend event that opens a special Secret Dungeon which can contain nat3s that normally do not have a Secret Dungeon.

Note

Unlike normal dungeons the waves in Secret Dungeons are not different battles, (de)buffs and ATB status is carried over from the previous wave, it is just new enemies appearing. Until the Tartarus Labyrinth with the time limit stages was introduced this mechanic was unique to Secret Dungeons.
