Artifacts

Artifacts are a special type of gear introduced in version 6.0.0 of the game. Each monster can equip two artifacts, one for its type and one for its attribute (element).

Artifact Main Stats

Artifacts have one of three main stats: Flat ATK, flat DEF, and flat HP. Unlike runes artifacts do not have a star-level so it just depends on the power-up level.

Artifact Substats

Attention

Com2uS changed the artifact substat descriptions in an attempt to make them more readable but that has widely been considered a mistake by the playerbase. Some of the changes are okay but others not so much, for example "Single-target skill CRIT DMG +N% on your turn" is now "Own turn 1-target CD +N%" and many not very experienced players and/or people who have problems with the English language have expressed concerns about the new artifact substat descriptions. And many experienced players simply find the changes ridiculous (e.g. "Add'l DMG" instead of "Additional Damage"), so this page continues to use the "old" artifact substat descriptions.

Notes

  • Recovery and Accuracy increasing artifacts work with passives, e.g. Perna will heal more.
  • Recovery increasing artifacts also work on the heal you get from lifesteal (including vamp runes), e.g. if you'd heal for 1k normally from lifesteal, with a 10% recovery artifact this becomes 1.1k.
  • Damage dealt on/received from [Element] is only available on Attribute Artifacts.
  • Skill [1/2/3/4] CRIT DMG/Recovery/Accuracy increase is only available on Type Artifacts.
  • Single-target skill CRIT DMG+ doesn't work with multi-target skills only hitting a single target, for example Baleygr.
  • Team-up damage increase artifacts work on the monster that has equipped them when that monster participates in a team-up attack, no matter if it gets pulled or is pulling others.
  • Additional Damage by N% of X is not influenced by increased damage vs X element artifacts.
  • Increase ATK/DEF/SPD Effect +N% is additive with Miriam's passive, so for example a 10% artifact and a Miriam on the team will result in an ATK buff being 67.5% (instead of the normal 50%) and not 68.75%.

Attention

Artifacts seem to round down (unlike most things in the game) to either percent or whole numbers. For example Vamp runes with 2% increasing lifesteal will still be 35% and not 35.7%. Additional damage from artifacts also rounds down to whole numbers and does so per stat. For example if you would get 100.66 additional damage from SPD and 50.8 additional damage from ATK then the total additional damage will only be 150, not 151.
